The Rio Grande Celtic Sevens Rugby Classic, Hosted by the Brujos and Atomic Sisters is an exciting and distinct tournament setting.

* One of the only tournaments open to both adult and high school teams.

* This unique rugby tournament is part of the Rio Grande Celtic Festival’s Scottish Highland Games.

* Lots of activities between games, including watching the Highland Scottish Athletic Competition.

* Beautiful pitches with views of the Sandia Mountains, plenty of convenient parking, and excellent facilities at Albuquerque’s Balloon Fiesta Park

* Rhino’s Match for the big guys (top 20 players by weight in an exhibition match.)

* Celtic Warrior Women (Costumed women in an exhibition match.)

The 23rd Annual Rio Grande Valley Celtic Festival and Highland Games will be held
May 19 - 20, 2012 at Albuerque's Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque, NM.

This year the Irish Hurling Competition is back as part of the Scottish Highland Games.

*There will be music and beer available right at the rugby fields and plenty more options on
the main concourse.

*Celtic music on the main stage throughout the day.

*Ticket prices are Adults: $10 one Day or $15 for the weekend

*Children: $5 per day or $7 for the weekend

* Multiple stages featuring Celtic music, piping, and dancing, and plenty of great food.

* Beer Garden (21 and over only) at the festival

Rio Grande Celtic Sevens Rugby Classic, May 19th and 20th.

Weekend attendance at the Balloon Fiesta Park is estimated to be 5,000 or more, depending on the weather. Your tournament entry includes arm bands for 14 participants per team (12 persons per roster plus 2 Administrators.) When not playing, enjoy the Celtic Festival events and activities.
